Tina more Medical Complications

Since having her Thyroid radiated Tina having scary effects from the Steroids she has to take for 6 months.

The Steroids are needed to prevent Graves disease after radiation. Without them you could go blind so stopping them is not an option.

The side effects include temporary weight gain or generally blotting of face and abdomen and possible heart problems. Tina had a few bouts of chest pains combined with high blood pressure. Seeing eye doctor today in Seattle. Hope he agrees with Thyroid doctor on reducing the high doses of thyroid medicine. We will also be seeing a cardiologist this afternoon to make sure the medications are not putting too much of a strain on her heart.

All this stuff scares the hell out of me.
