Gregoire's Ray + Tina

Ray and I met up with Alexandra and Shawn at Calabria (restaurant) in Kirkland. It was great to see Alex again. She showed me something about organic chemistry and how the molecules are charted, but it was Greek to me. And... it really was some kind of foreign language. Shawn seems like a great guy. He grew up in Wenatchee which is on the far side of the moon from Mercer Island, yet the two of them have a lot in common.

They also study together, which is fabulous.

Alex wants to get into medicine. Shawn wants to become a dentist. It sounds as though Central Washington is recruiting great new instructors from around the world to form it's foundation as a science-oriented school.
