Tina Neck Surgery Delayed
Tina's surgery will be delayed for 2 weeks due to her Texas Rash caused by an allergy
to Texas mosquitoes. Cleared up overnight then she forgot her pills one night and it was back.
I checked with our neighbor Dr Turck who teaches "Infectious Diseases & Allergies" at the UW Medical School (he was once the dean) and he concurred it was an allergy and steroids were the right treatment.
Dr Krengle and his staff went over Tina's surgery this morning. Scary stuff 4 hour surgery with up to 5 day stay in the hospital and very painful during recovery. Operation near spinal cord which is also scary...this surgery is much more complex than the one she had 4 years ago. Say a prayer for her.
